To apply for a travel visa to Sierra Leone requires the following documents:
Passport. The passport should be valid for at least six (6) months from the last day of your intended stay in Sierra Leone.
Photo requirements. Two photos against a light white background.
Yellow Fever Vaccination. Copy of International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever.
Bank Statement. Copy of a recent bank statement showing proof of sufficient funds.
Letter of Invitation. If staying with friends or family, a letter of invitation from the host in Sierra Leone, can be used instead of the hotel reservation. The letter should be addressed to the Embassy of Sierra Leone, Visa Section and should state the relationship to the applicant, the dates of the visit, and the address and phone number where you will be staying.
Itinerary. A ticket with a confirmed return trip and hotel reservation. If no hotel reservations are available, please provide the hotel names and addresses.
