Citizens of the EU travelling on tourism can provide a hotel booking (for a maximum stay of 10 days) instead of the required documents listed above. In such a case, the visa will be issued for the duration of confirmed stay. Printed confirmations from www.booking.com or similar booking services will not be accepted.
For the applicants born in the USSR or former USSR States
One of the following documents is required to be submitted:
• Copy of the certificate of citizenship of the USSR or former USSR state;
• Copy of the German Certtificate of Naturalization (together with a copy of the USSR passport if possible);
• Copy of the official registration with the appropriate authorities (Registration certificate).
For minors whose parent(s) were born in the USSR or former USSR States
If the minor applicant used to hold Belorassian citizenship:
• Copy of the Birth Certificate
In other cases:
• Copy of the minor's Birth Certificate;
• Copy of the bio-pages and data pages of the parents' passports;
• Copy of the documents proving that the parents lost their former citizenship.

To apply for a travel visa to Belarus requires the following documents:
Validity of passport should be at least three months after expiration of the visa and with at least 2 blank pages, with no unofficial comments and corrections, the passport must be undamaged.
Recent 35 x 45 mm high resolution photo attached to the application, taken against light background not older than 6 months.
Travel health insurance.
Copy of the current proof of the travel health insurance with all necessary information: copy of the health insurance policy of the companies BELGOSSTRAKH or BELEKSIMGARANT or copy of the current proof of the foreign travel health insurance with all necessary information.
•Original or copy of the invitation (in the prescribed form) of a Belarusian travel agency on top of the arch, or
Original or copy of the invitation of a cure facility or a sanatorium on top of the arch, or
Original or copy of the invitation of an agri-tourism company.
