No visa for Albania is necessary if:
a) Foreign citizens who have a valid, multiple-entry Schengen visa, which has been previously used in one of the Schengen states, or foreign citizens who have a valid permit of stay in one of the Schengen states;
b) Foreign citizens who have a valid, multiple-entry US or UK visa, which has been previously used in the respective country of issuance, or have valid permit of stay in the US or UK.
c) Foreign citizens from Saudi Arabia,Belarus, Qatar, Oman, Russia, Thailand and Bahrain, can enter in Albania without visa,for short term stay, with the passport document, from 1 April 2019 until 31 October 2019.
If you wish to stay in Albania for more than 90 days in a 6-month period, you must apply for a Type D visa.

To apply for a travel visa to Albania requires the following documents:
Original, signed Germany passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity and at least 2 empty pages.
Two recent passport size photographs.
Copies of bank statements from the past 3 months.
Tickets for round trip and return with fixed dates.
Covering letter from applicant mentioning, personal, passport, travel and who will bear the expenses details.
Proof of accommodation.
Hotel reservation or accommodation certificate duly certified by the local authorities in Albania or an invitation from Albania travel agency with itinerary.
