Fill out China tourist visa application form online
and send the following documents to VisaHQ:

Application Form. The application form will be filled out by VisaHQ and sent to the applicant per E-Mail to be signed.

Original Passport.The remaining validity of the passport should be at least 6 months and with at least two blank visa pages. For multiple-visa application, the remaining validity of the passport must cover the validity of visa and the duration of stay.

Passport-type photograph. A recently-taken (within 6 months) color passport photo (bare-head, full face) against a White background (size: 48mm x 33mm).

Passport copy. A photocopy of the passport's data page and the photo page (on one A4-Sized paper).
Notes: If the current passport is issued from 2016,please also provide your last passport and a photocopy of your last passport's data page and the photo page.If not available,please fill in the Personal Statement ,print it out and sign it.

Proof of status. If you are not applying for a visa in the country of your citizenship, you must provide the original and photocopy of your valid certificates of residence, employment or student status, or other valid certificates of legal stay provided by the relevant authorities of the country where the Visa Centre is located (Not available for short-term visa holders).

Photocopy of previous Chinese visas. If you have obtained Chinese visa before, you should provide the photocopy of the latest Chinese visa. (If your latest Chinese visa in previous passport, you should also provide the photocopy of the previous passport's data page).

Photocopy of previous Chinese passports or previous Chinese visas. (applicable for those who were Chinese citizens and have obtained foreign citizenship). If you are applying for a Chinese visa for the first time, you should provide the last Chinese passport held and a photocopy of its data page.

For minors. a). Applications for those who are under 18 years olds hould be signed by both parents or their guardian(s) on the form Section 5.
b). Applicants under 18 must provide the birth certificate with parents' names(original and copy), original Chinese passports(if applicable) or travel documents (original and copy if applicable).
c). Applicants under 18 must provide passports of both parents (original and copy of information page and signature page)and/or relevant legal documents for the guardians (original and copy) plus passport of the guardians (original and copy of information page and signature page).
d). If both parents or one of parents are/is non-Swiss passport holder(s), both original and copy of the parent(s) valid legal stay permit( work visa, study visa or residence permit)must be provided.
e). If personal information does not match on documents(such as a name change), both the original and copy of the changing proof documents must be provided.

Itinerary. Documents showing the itinerary including air ticket booking record (round trip).

Hotel Reservation. Proof of a hotel reservation (hotel booking confirmation of each day, and also need guest's name on it), etc.

Personal Invitation and Inviter's ID. If you are invited by a relevant unit or individual in China, you need to provide an invitation letter and a hard copy of the inviter's identity card(front side and back side).

Invitation letter. Invitation issued by organization (including government at the county level and above, company and public institution) should contain:
(1) Information of the applicant (incl. full name, gender, date of birth, passport number, etc.);
(2) Details of the planned visit (incl. arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, accommodation arrangements, etc.);
(3) Information of the inviting party(incl. name of organization or person concerned, contact telephone number, address, official stamp of the organization, signature of the legal representative or individual).
Invitation issued by personal inviter (including Chinese citizen, residence from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who are holding legal residence in mainland China) shall provide three documents: (2) Details of the planned visit (incl. arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, accommodation arrangements, etc.);
(3) Information of the inviting party(incl. name of organization or person concerned, contact telephone number, address, official stamp of the organization, signature of the legal representative or individual).

(2) A hard copy of the identity card (front side and back side) of the inviter.
(3) Inviter's proof of address.
Invitation issued by personal inviter who are non-Chinese citizen and are holding legal residence in mainland China shall provide four documents: (2) A hard copy of the identity card (front side and back side) of the inviter.

Additional documents. • Tourists traveling to China by their own means of transport need to provide invitations or itineraries issued by Travel Agencies in mainland of China.
• Travelers traveling to China by ship need to provide cruise itineraries issued by travel agencies.
• Foreign mountaineering teams to mountaineer in China need to provide a visa notice from the General Administration of Sport of China.
